A 24/7 child care where children can be taken care while their only parent is working

A 24/7 institution that will provide services for children from 4 months - 11 years old. It will be possible to operate on low cost and accept children from single parent families, so the parent will be able to work at any kind of work.

While working with women that don't have a partner, I realise that one of the biggest dificulty of being a single parent is the unemployment. Unemployment can cause lot of financial, psychological and social exclusion problems. Women with children who previously have been in abusive relationships it can take a while to built up their carreers. They suffer the consequences of unemployment and they struggle with the support of governemtal funds, that can barely cover their basic needs. Most of the times these women might  have a new start by taking a low skilled job in shifts before builting up their careers. Almost all of the women might luck social support and they can not accept a job offer because they need to take care of their babies.

This institution will operate 24/7 and women can drop off their children while at work. During the day kindergarten teachers can take care the education of preschool children on low cost.

During the afternoon a small bus can collect the primary school children and other proffessionals can organise diffrent activities for the children. The activities will be psychoeducational in order to reinforce life values and skills.

During the night it will be possible to offer dinner and beds so that the children whose parent is working on the night shift can go for sleep and wake up in the morning, have breakfast and go to school as soon as the parent picks them up.

The children will be accepted at school after the parent presents their shifts program.

The institution might work with the support of local community and private sector
