I would like to suggest to create a civil traffic network which I called it “civil traffic reporters” (CTR).

For both sides, problems in traffic which are caused due to reckless driving and violating even basic traffic rules are causing a lot of troubles and pain in many others’ life.European Commission (2018) report suggested that for each people killed in traffic accidents, approximately five more suffer from serious injuries with life-changing consequences. Thus I would like to pose a solution that are one of the biggest and common issue that make many people to suffer. In my pusula/πούσουλα proposal, I would like to suggest to create a civil traffic network which I called it “civil traffic reporters” (CTR). 

I suggest that , as a CTR, from both communities, some people with police clearance certificate will be chosen from each cities to monitor daily traffic activities and report traffic violations to police. 

This CTR could be based on volunteering and I promise I will be the chief volunteer for it :) So volunteer civil traffic reporters will be appointed to the various regions where it is known that people frequently violate rules  and report (with video recording if possible to submit as an evidence for traffic violations ) traffic rule violations.  For instance, one of the most busy road that lead to metehan border, there are traffic lights and drivers are not allowed to make u turns. However, it is very known that no one follows this rule and always breaks it. These actions might not always result with major accidents, however, this risky behavior creates extreme stress to other drivers and causes a lot of danger to pedestrians. 

So someone who is eligible will be appointed to such areas in each cities and report these actions which will lead to further precautions by the reckless drivers as they won’t be knowing where and when these civil traffic reporters will be appointed.
