Traffic lights at intersections should be placed in such a way to be visible to drivers only at an angle and not right in front of them.
Drivers often stop in the middle of pedestrian crossings at traffic lights and are, therfore, blocking pedestrians from crossing, colliding with other vehicles, etc. My proposal is for traffic lights to be placed in such a way that drivers cannot see them right across them. Then they would be forced to stay behind the pedestrian crossing.
