Young people helping elderly people to pay their bills, navigate on digital services of the government and the General Healthcare system (Gesy) and much more which nowadays has to take place online.
I hear elderly people saying that they go to the bank to pay their bills or rent and they are told to create mobile banking. How are they supposed to know how to do this? Has anyone ever wondered about it? They often feel frustrated and helpless!
So I came up with an idea!
Young people helping elderly people to arrange their bills, rents, electronic submission of tax returns, navigate on the digital services of the government, and on the General Healthcare system (Gesy), find doctors and much more which nowadays has to take place online.
In this way young people will feel useful and active in our society and develop new skills. Elderly people will be assisted in carrying out bureaucratic work online.
This project will promote digital literacy, will bring together young and elderly people and therefore create opportunity for an intergenerational exchange.
