Information and learning centers are places where individuals can access printed and digital resources, examine examples of good practices in combating gender inequality and discrimination.
Unlike memory institutions such as libraries, archives and museums, information and experience centers provide resources/publishing services to individuals and provide scenario-building/practice opportunities. An information and learning centre on combatting gender inequality and discrimination can provide relevant academic and popular studies/publications in print/digital format and also organize educational activities such as interviews, panels, discussions and/or workshops on experience sharing to raise awareness.
Combating gender inequality and discrimination - Personal and family life: Regardless of their gender, all individuals will have access to publications that have the potential to raise awareness and development that they can benefit from in the name of combating inequality and discrimination in their personal lives, especially at home. The target audience here is almost all individuals.
Combating gender inequality and discrimination - Business life: Examples of equal pay for equal work, positive discrimination, etc. from neigbouring countries or global examples with up-to-date data can be presented to individuals. The target audience here is employers, representatives, union members, etc.
Combating gender inequality and discrimination - Public and political life: Publications and examples of good practices about female leadership, political space creation, etc can be presented. The target audience here is women directly.
In summary, I propose the establishment of bi-communal information and learning centers specializing in combating gender inequality and discrimination.
