Let's have childcare facilities at Ledra Palace, so those with children can be more active in this multi-communal space, participate in dance lessons, drum circles, peacebuilding efforts

Women are usually less active in civic efforts, have less time for their hobbies, they are less represented in the multi-communial space, mainly because they carry most of the childcare duties and have less personal time. Providing free or cheap childcare options would first and foremost help facilitate women's participation. Also, this could be turned into a communal reciprocity affair, where some elements can be volunteer, some paid. Technicalities can be figured out, but it could be a collaborative cooperative effort. There are multiple examples around the world, from collecting tokens by donating your time which can be exchanged for free childcare, to other in-kind and reciprocal exchanges.

One way would be to join this global volunteer group: https://www.volunteerhq.org/gb/family-volunteering/

Great idea! This would allow for a more diverse participation from women of different socio-economic backgrounds in civic/inter-communal backgrounds. For example, peace-building activities - especially in areas where the social state is not developed and meeting the needs of families - can only go so far if some socio-economic/accessibility factors are not considered and the same people with the same cultural/educational/social backgrounds take part.
