To sanitize the money in circulation and to look at the introduction of a joint bank initiative for preloaded electronic transfer of funds
Under the conditions we have now cleanliness is of paramount importance
My approach wood be two fold
Money
It has been proven that money carries more germs than a toilet seat ,compounded by being kept in a warm pocket or wallet
How many people lick their fingers when counting money ?, when shopping with your money how many people lick their fingers to open a plastic bag ?
UV rays are used to sanitize areas I would suggest that this is used in all ATM machines and counting machines in Banks at points of issue.
Plastic
There is a big move to electronic transfer of funds by card that does not have to be handled by anyone other than yourself and can be easily sanitized and a move to lift the credit limits in use
Personally I prefer to use cash but Transfer Wise have an excellent system a pre loaded card, electronic transfer from funds ,standing order transfer for fixed budgeting and electronic notification of balance at point of transfer plus accounts in many currencies
I would suggest that the Cyprus banks give something back to the people in getting together to provide a universal card for Cyprus
