Gender equality can be improved by educating chlidren at young age and setting good examples as adults at home. Today’s children will be adults of tomorrow who will promote and defend gender equality.
Gender equality in education is a key for sustainable development, for peaceful communities. Governments should emphasise establishing gender equality in enrolment and attainment rates. Segregating students as boys and girls should be stopped and more project based education should be implemented encouraging mixed students attending and achieving results by helping each other without any kind of discrimination. This sort of education can be turned into a course that can be delivered at all schools as compulsary education. The NGO's should support and promote this within the community through art, media and any other means possible to spread the good message. Adults at home will be very good examples to children by sharing household chores etc. Therefore setting the right mindset of gender equality for the people of future can be achieved through this systematic process.
